Our privacy policy is in keeping with academic practice, and no commercial or promotional use of your data by us or third party.
We collect the minimum information for you to browse the website, and receive updates if you wish.
We use your information exactly for what we say it will be.
In the grand academic tradition, we respect both your privacy and bullet points.
Third-party web apps raise potential privacy issues. Here's what we do.
Mail Poet: We use them for handling our newsletter, because it's the most secure way to handle your email address (if you subscribed to updates). According to Mail Poet's policy, the only thing they collect from you is the email address. It uses no cookies, and we have disabled their tracking feature.
Vimeo: According to their policy, the only cookies they collect through us are actually useful: to remember your player settings, and prevents bots. Their embedded player can potentially serve cookies. However, our paid account enables us to block analytics from being collected.
YouTube: They love to collect personal data. Â However, they also want to exist in Europe, so they need to provide a way around that. We use it.
You have the right to view, change or remove your personal data here (i.e., name and email address) at any time. Unsubscribing to our updates deletes your information from Mail Poet's (and our) system.
Use our contact form to ask us any questions.
GDPR and CPRA compliance: We do not use email for promotional or commercial activity, or share them with third parties.
You’ll receive an email to confirm you signed up. Your address is protected as per our privacy policy.
